KiddyTV Islamic for Apple TV

The short version: KiddyTV Islamic collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no analytics. Everything the app remembers stays on the Apple TV.

Who we are

KiddyTV Islamic is an Apple TV app published by HypeCode. It teaches Islamic basics to children through quizzes, Arabic words, memory games and duas. This policy covers the app only, and describes exactly what it does and does not do with information.

What the app stores on your device

So a child can pick up where they left off, the app keeps the following in the Apple TV's own local storage:

  • An optional first name and age for the player. Both are typed by a parent, both are optional, and the app works without them.
  • Learning progress: questions and duas answered, stars earned, day streak, badges, and highest level reached.
  • Settings: Learn Mode and Read Aloud.
  • Whether the one-time Pro unlock has been purchased.

None of it is sent anywhere, none of it is backed up to any server of ours, and all of it is deleted when the app is deleted. We never see it and cannot retrieve it.

What the app does not collect

  • No contact details, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
  • No device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or fingerprinting.
  • No usage analytics, crash-reporting services, or attribution SDKs.
  • No user-generated content, messaging, sharing, or social features. The name field is the app's only text entry, it never leaves the device, and nothing outside the app can read it.

Network use

The app is built to work offline — the questions, Arabic words, duas and pictures all ship inside it.

There is one exception. In Dua & Adhkar, pressing Listen downloads that dua's audio clip the first time it is played and caches it on the device, so it is not fetched again. The clips are ordinary static files served from Cloudflare R2. The request carries nothing but the name of the clip: no name, age, progress, or device identifier, and no cookies or logins. As with any request on the internet, the hosting provider receives the device's IP address and the time of the request in order to deliver the file. We do not use that to identify anyone, do not link it to a player, and build no profiles from it.

With no network, the app reads the dua aloud using the device's own built-in speech instead, so nothing is broken by staying offline.

Purchases

KiddyTV Islamic offers a single one-time Pro unlock, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details, and Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been bought. A parental gate stands in front of the purchase, and Apple's Ask to Buy and Screen Time controls apply as normal. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

KiddyTV Islamic is made for children and is designed to meet Apple's Kids Category rules, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and UK and EU rules on children's data. Because the app collects no personal information and sends none to us, there is nothing for us to disclose, share, or sell — and no verifiable parental consent is required for data collection, because there is no data collection.

The app contains no advertising, no external links, no web browser, no chat, and no way for a child to contact anyone through it.

Third parties

The app bundles no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks of any kind. The only outside services involved are Apple, for the App Store and in-app purchase, and Cloudflare, for static hosting of the dua audio files described above.

Your choices

  • Delete the app from the Apple TV to clear everything it remembers.
  • Leave the name and age blank — the app plays exactly the same without them.
  • Turn off Read Aloud in Settings to stop all spoken audio.
  • Play entirely offline; only the dua Listen button ever reaches the network.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes what it stores or sends, this page will be updated before that version ships, with the change noted here.
