How do I set it up?

Install Home Dash TV on your Apple TV and on an iPhone, signed in to the same iCloud account. The iPhone app is the control center: set your family name, home location, and widgets there, and the TV updates automatically within seconds.

My iPhone changes don't appear on the TV

Sync runs through your private iCloud. Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and connected to the internet, and that iCloud Drive is enabled on the iPhone. The Settings tab of the iPhone app shows the current sync status under Sync.

What's free and what's Pro?

Free includes any 3 active widgets. The one-time Pro unlock — no subscription — opens all widgets, including Photo Memories, plus every layout option. It's a universal purchase: buy once on iPhone and it unlocks the Apple TV app too, and Family Sharing is supported.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

On the iPhone, open Settings → Home Dash TV Pro → Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. The TV picks the unlock up automatically.

How do photos get on the TV?

In the iPhone app, enable the Memories widget and pick photos — only the ones you choose are synced, through your private iCloud. They appear in the rotating Memories card on the TV.

Changing the TV's background videos

In the iPhone app, go to Settings → TV background and pick a video collection (Calm Nature, Fireplace, Fish, Islamic, Rainy — or Automatic for all). The TV plays a new ambient loop every 10 minutes.

Where does the schedule come from?

You write it in the app — the Family tab on iPhone has a calendar where you add your family's events. No calendar permission is needed and nothing is read from your personal calendars.

Are prayer times accurate for my city?

Prayer times are computed on the device from your home location using standard solar calculations, with Ramadan awareness. Make sure your home location and time zone are set correctly in Settings.

Does the TV screen ever sleep?

Home Dash TV is an ambient display: while it's on screen it keeps the TV awake by design, like a photo frame. Press the Home button to leave the app and let the TV sleep as usual.
