Privacy Policy

Home Dash TV for Apple TV & iPhone

The short version: we collect nothing. Your family's data stays on your devices and in your own iCloud — we have no servers and no way to see it.

What we collect

Nothing. Home Dash TV has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs.

Your family's data & iCloud sync

Your schedule, shopping list, countdowns, photos, and settings are stored on your devices and synced between your iPhone and Apple TV through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), inside the privatedatabase of your own Apple Account. Only devices signed in to your iCloud can read it. HypeCode operates no servers and cannot access any of it. Apple's handling of iCloud is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Photos

The app never gets access to your photo library. Photo Memories uses Apple's out-of-process photo picker, so only the pictures you explicitly choose are copied into the app — then synced to your Apple TV through your private iCloud, and nowhere else.

Weather

Forecasts come from Open-Meteo, a free open-source weather service. The only thing sent is the coordinates of the home location you typed in — no account, no identifiers, no personal data.

News

Headlines are fetched directly from the public RSS feeds of the news sources you choose, the same as a feed reader. No intermediary sees what you read.

Prayer times

Prayer times are computed entirely on your device from your home location — nothing is sent anywhere.

Purchases

The one-time Pro unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above, this page will be updated before that version ships, with the change noted here.
